Since long time I noticed that some sounds which are made by nature and of course by humans have a slight repeating, or i can say, loop character. So i decided to try to make music out of them. Of course I'm not the first who did it. But personally for me it was quite an experiment. My idea was, not to use any musical instrument. It's pretty challenging to make music with something that isn't a musical instrument and can't produce sounds which we perceive as music or which we call notes. But at some point of the experimentation I realized that some of the noises, which I was playing with, in fact do have a tone that can be described as a note. I'm not an owner of the perfect musical ear, so I can't tell you exactly which notes i was playing. but it seemed for me to function musically :)
So, as already said, in these tracks were used just a couple of field recordings, which i did this August in Hamburg Port on Elbe. Not a single instrument.
